ABOUT LIBERTY
Our pastor, David Teis, is a native of the Las Vegas Valley. As a young man the Lord gave him a burden to see the city of Las Vegas reached with the gospel of Jesus Christ. He attended Bible College in Lynchburg, VA where he met his wife Anna. Upon graduation they moved back to Las Vegas to start a church. On September 11, 1977 Liberty Baptist Church opened it's doors to 68 people.
Today the Lord is blessing their vision as thousands of people have had their lives transformed by experiencing a relationship with Jesus Christ. Each week hundreds of people from all walks of life attend our 5 weekly services. There is something for everyone, from an exciting children's ministry to our innovative youth program to a dynamic adult small groups ministry.
At Liberty Baptist Church God is building a place for the Las Vegas Valley to call home. The driving purpose and vision of this ministry continues to reflect the goal of reaching the Las Vegas Valley with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We want to assist in the starting of 20 independent Baptist Churches in the Las Vegas Valley, see missionaries sent across the world, and train young people to serve the Lord with their whole lives.
