LIBERTY CONNECTION

Camp Liberty is our free summer day camp provided by the members of Liberty Baptist Church. It is open for children ages 2-11 and runs every Sunday morning from 8:30 am to 12:15 pm June through August. We have over 80 trained volunteer who help staff the camp. Last year we registered over 500 children in our camp. Since many of the children in Las Vegas are unable to attend camp due to year around school we have our camp on Sundays so that any child can attend. We also know how expensive camp can be that is why we offer it free to anyone ages 2-11, we can only do this through the generosity of our church family. This is one way our church tries to reach out to the underprivileged children in Las Vegas. If a child lives near the church we are able to provide them with transportation as well. We have three major days that we provide that we simply call “Big Days”.

It is held on Sundays from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm unless otherwise noted.

• Camp Liberty Mini-Mall – July 18

One whole wing of Liberty Baptist Church is transformed into a miniature mall. When children arrive they will receive free play money to spend in any of the stores. Stores include: Arcade, Beauty Shop, Candy Story, Pet Shop, Miniature Golf, Toy Store and much more! We also include Disney Karaoke. We provide a 50’s Diner where children may purchase soda’s and hotdogs. True life application stories are told to teach children to be giving to those who are in need.

• Camp Liberty Hawaii Day – August 1

This is one wet day! We rent big water slides and have many water games for the children to participate in. We pass out free otter pops and candy on this fun splash down day. True life application stories are told to encourage children to be kind and loving to others.
